Butter Baked Trout with Brown Rice Recipe

2 Trout fillets about 2 pounds
1 lb of butter (not margarine)
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cups Brown Rice

Prepare brown rice per the directions on the box.

Cut Trout fillets into 1 inch square pieces. Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. In a 9x12 baking dish or pan melt the butter. Remove the melted butter from the oven and add all spices except the lemon juice. Stir the spices to mix with the butter. Add the Trout pieces to the butter, form a single layer of pieces. Sprinkle the chopped green onion on top of the trout. Sprinkle the lemon juice on the trout pieces. Return the baking dish to your oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove when the pieces flake easily with a fork. Serve the trout pieces with some of the butter sauce on top of the brown rice. Serves four.
