The Blue Diamond downrigger, planer and Dipsy rods ( the "BDC" models ), represent a high quality series of responsive and light trolling rods, with precise actions. The BDC rods feature a triangular fore grip that prevents the rod from twisting from side to side in the heat of the battle. These unique trolling rods also feature a graphite gimble that locks rod into the rod holder while trolling. The finishing touch on these rods is the guides. All BDC rods feature the super hard plated gold guide inserts that will withstand the abuse of wire line and braided lines. The accents on the rod match perfectly with the Titanium coated line guide, smoke colored aluminum spool and black graphite body of Okuma's popular Convector line counter and level wind reels.
