Torpedo Diver Fishing Weights

The largest Torpedo Diver (Cuda) will give you a great angle of attack keeping your lures closer to the boat. When traveling 2 mph, if you desire to place a lure down 40 feet you only need to put out 40 feet of line. In this case the Torpedo Diver is acting like a pulley and weight system, so much so that you can attach free or stationary slider onto your fishing line. With the largest Torpedo Diver you are targeting the most aggressive fish.

The medium Torpedo Divers (Musky or Shark) are used when you want your lure further from the boat. The medium sized torpedo divers can be used when you want to pass a fishing line over a larger Torpedo Diver using Offshore Inline Boards. You will require more fishing line to reach the same depths. The greater line length places your lures are further away from the boat noise. Medium sized Torpedo Divers are used when active fish are a little boat shy.

The smallest Torpedo Diver (Snapper) is used when you want your lure furthest from the boat or when you want to pass over any other Torpedo Diver using Offshore Inline Boards. You will require more fishing line to reach the same depths and thus your lures are further away from the boat noise. Small sized Torpedo Divers are used when active fish are a very boat shy.
