Surf fishing for Brown Trout after dark with glow in the dark spoons can be very productive. As night approaches the brown trout, which can be very weary during the day, will cruise the shallows looking for a meal. The night vision of brown trout is very good. Moonlit nights will provide enough light for basic vision. You will also need to bring a flashlight or cap light and a charging system for the glow in the dark spoons. Only use your light when needed. We like to charge the glow in the dark spoons with a UV Cap Light. There is a wide variety of Glow in the Dark casting spoons available. We like glow in the dark casting spoons: Acme Lil Cleo's, Silver Streak, Krocodille spoons fro Luhr Jensen, and Yeck casting spoons. Some of our favorites are shown below.
